Charles William ("Trey") Reeves, III

Trey Reeves, Associate Attorney, focuses his practice on state and federal tax controversies and litigation. Mr. Reeves represents state tax clients in administrative and legal proceedings before the Texas Comptroller’s office, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, and Texas state courts regarding Texas sales and use tax. He also represents federal tax clients at the administrative appeals level as well as in proceedings before the United States Tax Court and United States District Courts.

Mr. Reeves was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2025. He is also a member of the Texas Tax Section and the Austin Young Lawyers Association. 

Mr. Reeves earned his B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his J.D. from University of Houston Law Center in 2024, and he earned his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Houston Law Center in 2025.
